Training for a happy & sound athlete

My training program is based on the belief that training should not just improve performance, but promote soundness of mind and body. I am here to help horses of all disciplines develop proper posture through relaxation, balance and engagement.

When working with a horse I am continuously analyzing their posture, emotional state and physical development. I compare my style of training to yoga - the horse should always leave the session feeling better in their body and mind.

My training plans include bodywork, in hand work and ridden work suited to each horses specific needs.

I love helping riders find ease and confidence in their riding. My background in yoga and biomechanics guides me in helping riders discover a balanced and effective position that works for their individual body. I believe that feel can be taught and I use breathwork, visualization and mindfulness techniques so riders can feel confident in helping their horse find better balance.
